I got this for my friend’s birthday. When he opened it, I could tell by his face I'd nailed the perfect gift.
He's always been into Japanese culture, so I chose The Dragon King mousepad. The moment he saw it, he spent 10 minutes just appreciating all the intricate details.
The artwork is genuinely beautiful. Every detail is perfect, and you can instantly feel the premium quality just by touching it (much better than other Amazon mousepads I got in the past).

I recently purchased a mousepad with the topographic styling. I love this as I’m studying to be an architect and topography is something which is critical when designing! It’s symbolic of the journey I’m on. I was first drawn to the ikogai as I love traditional Japanese art, I have it on my wall and tattooed on my arm and leg! They come factory lubed and ready to install. Some enthusiasts add a thin layer to the leaf spring if they notice a slight tick — otherwise no additional lubing is needed.
Yes. The Hanami Dango V2 uses a standard 5-pin MX footprint. Clip the two small side pins for 3-pin plate mount boards — this does not affect switch performance.
Deep and consistent with a medium thock. Nylon housing keeps the sound full without sharpness. The 20mm extended spring adds a snappier return — most noticeable on polycarbonate or gasket-mounted boards.
The V2 is manufactured by HMX, bringing tighter tolerances and more consistent factory lubing. It also adds a removable RGB light diffuser — absent in V1 — so RGB shines through without housing tint.
