I got this for my friend’s birthday. When he opened it, I could tell by his face I'd nailed the perfect gift.
He's always been into Japanese culture, so I chose The Dragon King mousepad. The moment he saw it, he spent 10 minutes just appreciating all the intricate details.

I recently purchased a mousepad with the topographic styling. I love this as I’m studying to be an architect and topography is something which is critical when designing! It’s symbolic of the journey I’m on. I was first drawn to the ikogai as I love traditional Japanese art, I have it on my wall and tattooed on my arm and leg! The mousepad is very high quality from the feel to the print. I’ll be purchasing some wall scrolls soon for sure! Highly recommend the mousepads!

Three things set it apart: a short 1.0mm pre-travel for faster actuation, POM housing on both top and bottom for a tighter and smoother feel, and Kailh's sealed box structure that makes it dustproof and water-resistant — unusual in a standard linear.
POM (polyoxymethylene) is denser and harder than nylon. It produces less stem wobble, tighter tolerances on each keystroke, and a slightly different sound — drier and more consistent than nylon-housed switches. It is commonly used in premium linears for exactly this reason.
Yes. Standard 5-pin MX footprint. Clip the two small side pins for 3-pin plate mount boards. The box stem fits all standard MX hot-swap sockets without any modification.
They come factory lubed and install ready. For a noticeably smoother feel, a thin layer of 205g0 on the stem legs is worth it — POM responds very well to lubing. The box structure makes re-lubing harder than open-stem switches, so do it once properly if you choose to.
Yes — the 1.0mm pre-travel is one of the shortest available in a standard linear. Actuation happens fast with minimal finger travel, which translates directly to quicker inputs. Light 40g actuation also reduces finger fatigue during long sessions.
