Mount5-pin PCB
  • 5-pin PCB mount — fits any 5-pin hot-swap board. Clip the two side pins for 3-pin (plate mount) keyboards.
  • 0.9mm pre-travel is among the shortest of any MX linear. The gap between key contact and key press is almost imperceptible — designed for competitive gaming where milliseconds matter.
  • PC top housing transmits RGB clearly and produces a brighter, crisper sound signature compared to nylon-topped linears.
  • 45g actuation with 52g bottom-out is a light-to-medium feel — fast to actuate without being fatiguing over long sessions.
  • Factory lubed and ready to install straight from the pack. No additional preparation needed.
  • MX footprint — compatible with all standard MX keycaps and hot-swap sockets.
  • Ships within 1 to 3 business days. Tracking sent by email.

Common Questions

to know

The pre-travel is 0.9mm — that is the distance between resting position and actuation. Most MX linears sit between 1.9mm and 2.0mm. The Raptor actuates in less than half that distance, which means inputs register faster and key presses require less deliberate movement. It is the kind of difference you feel immediately.

Primarily gaming. The 0.9mm pre-travel and 45g actuation give you extremely fast, light input — ideal for FPS, real-time strategy, or any game where speed matters. For typing it is comfortable but lighter and more sensitive than what most typists prefer; some love it, others find it too easy to misfire. If you type and game on the same board, it works well. If it is a dedicated typing board, a 55–67g switch may suit you better.

They come factory lubed and are ready to install. If you want to tune further, a thin application of Krytox 205g0 on the stem rails will smooth them even more. Avoid over-lubing — too much dampens the crisp sound signature that makes the Raptor distinctive.

Geonworks (known for premium keyboards and the original Raptor gaming switch) co-developed the spec with HMX — one of the most respected switch manufacturers in China. The result is a switch tuned to Geon's performance targets with HMX's manufacturing precision: tight tolerances, consistent spring weight across the batch, and a stem designed to minimize wobble despite the short travel.

Yes. Standard 5-pin MX footprint. Clip the two small side pins for 3-pin plate mount boards. Compatible with all standard MX hot-swap sockets and MX keycaps.
