I got this for my friend’s birthday. When he opened it, I could tell by his face I'd nailed the perfect gift.
He's always been into Japanese culture, so I chose The Dragon King mousepad. The moment he saw it, he spent 10 minutes just appreciating all the intricate details.
The artwork is genuinely beautiful. Every detail is perfect, and you can instantly feel the premium quality just by touching it (much better than other Amazon mousepads I got in the past).
He sent me a pic of his desk set-up and he absolutely loves it. I was worried about the size but it actually fits great on his desk. Even after 2 months it still looks brand-new (no fading, no fraying edges, nothing).

I recently purchased a mousepad with the topographic styling. I love this as I’m studying to be an architect and topography is something which is critical when designing! It’s symbolic of the journey I’m on. I was first drawn to the ikogai as I love traditional Japanese art, I have it on my wall and tattooed on my arm and leg! The mousepad is very high quality from the feel to the print. I’ll be purchasing some wall scrolls soon for sure! Highly recommend the mousepads!

The tactile bump sits at the very top of the travel — you feel it the moment you press down, with almost no pre-travel before it. Combined with a short 3.0mm total travel and a 22mm double-stage spring, each keystroke is immediate and snappy with near-zero post-travel drag.
Both. The early bump gives strong tactile feedback for typists who want to feel every keypress without bottoming out. For gaming, the short travel and quick return make it faster than most tactiles. It is louder than a linear but quieter than a clicky switch.
They come factory lubed with GPL105 and GPL205 and are ready to install. Avoid lubing the stem legs directly — it will reduce the tactile bump. If you want to tune them, a light application of 105 oil on the spring only is the safest approach.
The V4 uses Gateron's new mold tooling for tighter housing tolerances, reducing stem wobble compared to V2 and V3. The double-stage spring is also new — it produces a more consistent feel across the full stroke and eliminates the mushy bottom-out common in earlier versions.
