to know
Hall Effect keyboards use magnetic switches instead of mechanical ones. There is no physical contact between parts when a key actuates. The actuation point is read by a sensor detecting a magnet's position, which means it can be set to any point in the travel range and re-armed at any point on the way back up. This is what enables Rapid Trigger. For competitive gaming, this removes the fixed reset point that standard switches have, allowing faster, more precise key repetition.
Rapid Trigger precision is the minimum movement the keyboard detects before registering a new press or release. At 0.001mm the EG75HE reads input changes that are effectively imperceptible to the human finger. In practice this means the keyboard re-arms the moment you begin releasing a key rather than waiting for it to travel back to a fixed reset point. The result is the fastest possible key repetition rate, used in counter-strafing and burst-fire techniques in competitive FPS.
Twin Stars is WEIKAV's signal processing solution for the EG75HE. It runs a 256kHz channel scan rate alongside the 8kHz polling rate to produce a claimed 0.08ms end-to-end input latency. The 256kHz scan reads the switch state far more frequently than the 8kHz output, which means the reported key state is always based on the most current sensor reading rather than an averaged or buffered one.
Wired only via USB-C. Hall Effect keyboards at this performance level prioritise the lowest possible signal latency, and wired delivers a more consistent connection than wireless for competitive play. There is no battery or wireless mode on the EG75HE.
The gasket mount, FR4 plate, and five layers of sound dampening make the EG75HE considerably more refined than a typical gaming keyboard. It does not sound hollow or plasticky. The aluminium case and dampened construction produce a sound closer to a premium typing board than a gaming peripheral. It works well as a daily driver.
Yes. The EG75HE has three adjustable tilt positions: low, medium, and high. The front height is 18mm at the lowest setting. Choose whichever angle works for your desk setup and hand position.
